The Battle Begins
silence
no one breathes
the horses hesitate
weapons are drawn
it all comes down to this

two sides fight for power
good against the bad
eyes fixed on what lies ahead
ears straining for the command

A wind blows
armour clinks with movement
the sword is raised
a shout follows
the horses lunge forward

the battle begins....
Pain
the tears flow freely
when will the pain subside?
the scolding burns my heart in two
my spirit bends and breaks

the harsh words eat through flesh
my skin burning from my bones
how long will it last?
can I endure?

My body trembles
I feel myself slip away
I begin to lose the upperhand
and death welcomes me

Ive always been obsesed with wolves, and I love this! i took seven "What Animal is Your Soul" quizzes and they all came out as a wolf, so that made my obsession worsen!!!
